Lansberry Trucking's culture of safety begins by hiring only the best drivers available. In reviewing applications for potential driver hires, we request a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for three years. This advises us of any accidents, suspensions, speeding violations, or any other citation or violation that would disqualify the driver. Examples of prohibited activity include:
- DUI within last 5 years
- Any license suspension in the last 5 years
- Two major moving violations in the last 3 years
- Two chargeable accidents
We do criminal background checks on each and every employee, and also use the PSP system (Pre-employment Screening System) that gives us a clear history of an applicant’s roadside vehicle inspections.
